Alessandra

Event management, sport production, entertainment & brand strategy are where my truest passions lie. My entrepreneurial family has instilled a foundational work ethic in me that is hardworking, passionate, and well-rounded.

From DJing middle school dances, to organizing volleyball clinics, basketball camps, selling chocolate covered strawberries, and designing pizza boxes, to: directing and producing Division 1 NCAA live basketball games, building hospitality spaces, stage managing, overseeing retail operations, art directing, and building marketing strategies, I am well-equipped to take on any project with a great deal of confidence, passion, and professionalism.

Social Media Management & Strategy

Bon Bon Bon

I have helped to build an instagram following of over 40k followers initially as a team of 1 (myself), and eventually worked to create an internal marketing department with systems in place to help with campaign planning, content development, community moderation, product development, and product launches.

Website Design & E-commerce Management

Bon Bon Bon

Creating SKUs, writing product descriptions, working with developers, constructing the layout, and discovering app extensions are all part of things that I did to build this robust and custom website.

Bon Bon Bon website projects that I have ideated, directed, and executed, have led to an increase in annual same store sales, conversion rates, customer engagement, subscribers, and media attention. My website development is proof that I can both strategize plans as well as execute on them- independently and cross functionally as needed.

  • Identified weaknesses and opportunities among existing SKUs, pitched recommendations to owners, and reconstructed company’s e-commerce catalog of 75+ products. Reconstruction resulted in a 5.5% AOV increase and an 11.6% increase in total online revenue in first 3 months of going live

  • Led the transition and implementation of using a third-party shipping and logistics partner for the first time in the company’s history, resulting in 20% lower labor costs to the business, 50% shorter fulfillment times to customers and overall improved efficiencies in Bon Bon Bon’s operations

  • Successfully implemented and rolled out company’s first-ever Loyalty & Rewards Program to effectively capture customer data in a way that is genuine and remains true to the brand, for future marketing uses resulting in a 156.9% increase in email subscribers and a 15% increase in SSS across locations.

Event Management

College Football Playoffs

College Athletics’ biggest stage is what I get to call “work”. Having worked on 3 CFPs (New Orleans, Miami, Houston, and current Atlanta), I have had a hand in pre-production planning, vendor management, sponsorship, on-site execution, and stage management.

  • Dr.Pepper, ESPN, Allstate, Capital One, and Taco Bell, to name a few, are just some of the sponsor accounts that I directly managed leading up to the 2019 College Football Playoff live events. In this position, I worked with each client along with their ESPN assigned representative to build activation spaces that were unique and aligned with their brand’s goals. I worked with local officials, venue management, F&B, and fabricators to deliver professional results.

  • Assigned to the University of Michigan’s team hotel the week leading up to the National Championship, I served as the point of contact and on-site manager for all team, family, and VIP lounges.

Think barbershop and armadillo racing in the players lounge, a space dedicated for children traveling with the team, and VIP zones for families and coaches.

  • Imagine: My headset is on, the run of show and script has been edited, notecards for talent are made, and I’m directing the venue’s A/V team and the MC’s for the show. All while reassuring the client that nothing is amiss and that last minute changes or adjustments are no sweat. There is perhaps nothing that I love more than calling and directing a live show. The energy, high stakes, and experience of it all makes the job just as fulfilling for me as I hope it is for attendees.

GO DUCKS

I spent all 4 of my undergraduate years working in the Athletic Department. First, with the football team doing administrative duties, but quickly transitioned over to the athletic’s Marketing & Promotions team.

As a marketing & promotions intern, I was tasked with various responsibilities across multiple sports. Booking halftime performances, managing talent, writing scripts for PA announcers, developing graphics for team promotional materials, community outreach, and more.

As I progressed in my internship, I was asked to take on more responsibility and take the place of the Department’s Graduate Assistant (as an undergraduate). In this position, I oversaw all interns, and managed the University’s largest sport team productions next to football: Men’s & Women’s Basketball.

“Go Band!”

“Bring out the Anthem signer”

“Hold the cheerleaders”

“Bring the music up”

“Cue team graphics”

“Push ‘Get Loud’ lower third”

“Lights out!”

“Go fight song!”

“We’re skipping that, cue this instead”
